Video of British Rabbit in Wheelchair

Back in November, I posted about Ethel, the disabled lop-eared rabbit in England who was fitted for a wheelchair. Here is a video showing Ethel, and owner Zoe.

    Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let rabbit owners out there know that we built Ethel’s wheelchair. She was our first bunny, “experimental” cart and she showed us that we could do it! Since then, we have built hundreds of rabbit carts for bunnies with varying stages of weakness or disability. They love their wheels!

We have been building dog wheelchairs for 14 years now and we decided to give it a try for Ethel as Zoe was at wit’s end trying to help her baby. Ethel zoomed around in her cart with her bunny cam rolling and made us all happy to see her mobile again.

Please know that a rabbit can live a long healthy life in a wheelchair if necessary. We have many bunnnies now that have been in their carts for several years and are still going strong. It is important to get them back up and mobile as soon as possible after an injury or illness. A disabled rabbit needs mobility to stay healthy and prevent pressure sores.

Feel free to contact us with any questions. We also have several videos on our site of other rabbits in our carts. You can access them by clicking on our videos banner at the bottom of our homepage. We are: http://www.Dogstogo.net

Thank you “My House Rabbit” for spreading the word about wheelchairs. You have helped many owners find us and helped many a bunny get well again.

    We are here to help!
