Easter is just around the corner, and hopefully many of you are aware of the Make Mine Chocolate campaign which advocates giving chocolate bunnies instead of real bunnies as gifts.  To extend upon that theme, here is a list of other Easter Bunny confections you may enjoy!

  These look adorable and seem fairly easy to construct.

  This is a recipe from Pillsbury that doesn’t require a cookie cutter for the shape.
• Easter Bunny Cake
  Another easy bunny construction that doesn’t require a special cake pan- just a round one. (A little different from the Easter Bunny cake recipe I posted about last year.)

The Hay Experts, one of the UK partners of the Make Mine Chocolate!™ campaign, is now offering ceramic pins resembling chocolate bunnies in their store. The idea is to promote MMC’s message that chocolate bunnies are better Easter gifts than live rabbits. By wearing the unique pin, people will be inclined to ask you about it, and this presents the perfect opportunity to spread the word that rabbits are not disposable pets. This helps reach MMC’s goal of educating the public on the proper care of house rabbits, so if they do decide to adopt a rabbit, they are adequately prepared to take on the responsibility.

All the profits from sales of the pins will be donated to a rabbit rescue.
